Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 27, 2026 · Version 3.2

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy applies to paid GGX Labs products, digital services, custom development, technical services, and subscriptions if offered, unless a more specific written service term applies.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or reduce mandatory statutory consumer or other legal rights.

2. Standard Commercial Refund Adjustment

Where a standard GGX Labs commercial refund adjustment is expressly applicable and legally permissible, the adjustment is 2% of the amount paid plus 18% GST on that 2% amount, producing an effective 2.36% adjustment.

This is not an unconditional deduction from every refund. It does not override mandatory statutory remedies, duplicate/failed payment corrections, processor reversals, chargeback outcomes, service-specific commitments, or any other case where law or the applicable transaction terms require different treatment.

Example only: on ₹1,000.00, the base adjustment is ₹20.00, GST on that adjustment is ₹3.60, and the illustrative return is ₹976.40.

3. Refund Adjustment Calculator

This calculator is illustrative only. The final refund is the amount approved after reviewing the transaction, applicable terms, statutory rights, taxes, and payment-provider rules.

This calculator shows the standard commercial adjustment described in the Refund Policy as an illustration. The actual approved refund can differ where statutory rights, service-specific terms, tax treatment, payment provider rules, or transaction-specific facts require different treatment.

4. Standard Commercial Refund Eligibility

A standard commercial refund request is reviewed against order status, fulfilment stage, payment records, applicable service terms, and the reason for the request.

Under the standard GGX Labs workflow, standard commercial requests are normally considered while the associated order is still in the pending state and before material fulfilment has started.

5. Statutory / Consumer-Rights Review

A customer may identify a request as a statutory or consumer-rights review when they believe mandatory law may provide a refund, cancellation, remediation, or other remedy despite the standard commercial eligibility rules. The request is routed for manual review and is not automatically approved merely because this option is selected.

A statutory/consumer-rights review may be submitted after fulfilment has started or when an order is not in the standard pending state, subject to the transaction having not already been finally refunded or otherwise resolved. GGX Labs will assess the request under the law applicable to the transaction and the relevant service terms.

6. Situations That May Limit a Voluntary Refund

A voluntary refund may be declined where:
  • Material service fulfilment or custom work has started.
  • Digital access, configuration, subscription benefits, or other service value has been delivered.
  • A customer-specific deliverable has been substantially produced.
  • The transaction has already been refunded, reversed, disputed, or finally resolved.
  • The transaction cannot be reasonably verified.
  • The request is duplicate, fraudulent, materially misleading, or abusive.

These limitations do not remove mandatory legal remedies. Where applicable law requires a refund because a service was defective, deficient, materially different from what was agreed/advertised, or otherwise subject to a mandatory consumer remedy, that legal requirement controls.

7. Custom Development and Technical Services

Custom work can create non-reversible labour, infrastructure, software, third-party commitments, and delivery costs. The completed stage of work may therefore affect a voluntary refund review, subject to law and the relevant service agreement.

For FORGE website projects, the selected package includes 1 to 25 revisions depending on the plan. Revisions are service entitlements for changes to the agreed project scope during the preview/review workflow; they are not cash-equivalent credits and unused revisions do not create a separate refund amount. Each submitted revision request uses one revision from the package allowance. Requests for materially new scope, new features, new integrations, or additional pages may fall outside the included revision allowance and may require a separate quote.

For voluntary commercial refund review, the use of revisions, publication of a preview, or other material fulfilment may indicate that custom work has started. That can affect eligibility under the standard commercial rules. Mandatory statutory or consumer remedies remain unaffected.

8. How to Request a Refund

Use the official refund workflow where provided. Contact support where help is needed.

Provide the order ID, authenticated account email, customer name, transaction/payment reference or other appropriate proof, and a clear reason. The official workflow allows you to identify a request as a standard commercial refund or a statutory/consumer-rights review. Do not provide passwords, OTPs, CVVs, full card numbers, or account-recovery secrets.

9. Verification and Review

GGX Labs may verify account ownership, order ownership, payment references, payment status, service state, and the information supplied with the request. Submitting a request does not itself approve a refund.

10. Approval and Initiation

For an approved refund, GGX Labs normally submits the refund to the applicable payment provider without undue delay and generally within three business days after approval.

Provider settlement and bank posting times are separate from GGX Labs' internal initiation time.

11. Refund Route and Currency

Refunds are normally returned through the original payment route, subject to the provider's capabilities and rules. Supported refunds are handled in the transaction currency unless the provider or applicable law requires another method.

Banks, card issuers, wallets, and intermediary institutions can affect posting and currency conversion.

12. Processing Times

The customer-visible credit date depends on the payment method, payment provider, bank/card network, holidays, reconciliation, and other intermediary controls. Any provider estimate is not a guaranteed posting date.

13. Processor Fees

Any payment-processor fee, retained merchant cost, or other intermediary treatment is separate from the GGX Labs standard commercial adjustment. The treatment of a particular transaction depends on the processor's current terms and transaction type.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact GGX Labs first where the issue can be resolved through normal support. Bank, card-network, and processor disputes follow their own rules and investigation procedures.

15. Previously Resolved or Suspicious Requests

GGX Labs may delay or reject requests that are duplicates, materially incomplete, suspected to involve fraud or payment manipulation, or concern transactions already refunded, reversed, disputed, or resolved.

16. Service-Specific Terms

A checkout page, invoice, subscription plan, order confirmation, or signed service agreement may contain more specific refund terms. Those terms may supplement this policy but cannot remove mandatory legal rights.

17. Changes

We may update this policy when services, payment providers, commercial terms, operational controls, or legal requirements change. The version and “Last Updated” date identify the current text. Changes normally apply prospectively unless applicable law requires another approach.

18. Contact

Refund questions, refund-request assistance, and transaction disputes may be sent to [email protected].
