1. Scope
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used by GGX Labs. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, web beacons, and browser/device identifiers where they perform similar functions.
2. Current Deployment
The current main GGX Labs application stores privacy preferences in browser local storage and may load Google Analytics only after the visitor enables analytics consent.
The current main-site advertising component layer does not intentionally load third-party advertising scripts. Legacy Monetag compatibility components are disabled.
3. Essential Technologies
Essential technologies may support authentication, account/session continuity, security, abuse prevention, and core site functionality. Essential technologies cannot be disabled through optional privacy preferences when they are necessary to provide the requested service.
4. Optional Analytics
Google Analytics is optional on the current main site. The analytics JavaScript is not loaded until the visitor enables the Analytics category. When enabled, analytics may measure page views, traffic source, approximate location, browser/device characteristics, and interactions.
5. Optional Advertising
Advertising technologies are treated as a separate optional category. Enabling the Advertising preference does not currently activate an advertising script because the main-site ad component layer is disabled.
If advertising is reintroduced, provider-specific disclosures and consent requirements will be reviewed before deployment where required.
6. Consent Mechanism
The current consent record is stored under cookie_consent_v2.
- Essential technologies remain enabled where required.
- Analytics is off by default until explicitly enabled.
- Advertising is off by default until explicitly enabled.
- Visitors can accept all, choose essential only, or manage optional categories separately.
- Existing optional choices can be changed later from Privacy Settings.
7. Withdrawal and Changes
You can reopen Privacy Settings at any time and change optional categories. When analytics is disabled, GGX Labs updates the available Google consent signal and removes Google Analytics cookies that can be cleared from the current site origin.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal and does not disable essential security or authentication functionality.
8. Third-Party Technologies
Third-party providers may use their own cookies or identifiers when their services are active. Depending on the services enabled, providers may include authentication, hosting/CDN, security verification, payment, analytics, email, and advertising providers.
Provider names, cookie names, domains, and technologies can change. This policy therefore describes categories and current deployment rather than promising a permanently fixed cookie inventory.
9. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow users to inspect, delete, block, or restrict cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage can break login, sessions, security, or other functionality.
10. Relationship With Privacy Policy
Personal-data collection, sharing, international processing, retention, security, rights, and privacy requests are described in the
Privacy Policy.
11. Privacy Signals and Jurisdiction-Specific Choices
GGX Labs does not currently use cross-context behavioral advertising or intentionally sell personal information as a standalone commercial product. Where applicable law requires a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, to be honored for sale/sharing, GGX Labs will process that signal as required for the relevant processing.
Optional analytics consent and legal opt-out rights are separate controls: an analytics choice does not waive a statutory sale/sharing or similar privacy right.
12. Changes
We may update this policy when technologies, providers, services, or legal requirements change. The version and “Last Updated” date identify the published policy.
13. Contact
Optional-cookie or privacy-preference choices are not treated as consent merely because a user accepts the Terms of Service or continues using the website. Where consent is required, the applicable consent control is used.
